Week Three Post: Super Memory

You might be thinking, why would having super memory be considered as a disease? Even though we may think it's a "gift," one person considers it as a problem.

The reason why people have this super memory is because of having two abnormally large areas in their brain. One large area is used for memory when forming habits and the other stores facts, dates, and events. Researchers believe that these two might be working together to create this super memory that records every detail.

I would love to have this "rare gift." School would be so much easier because reading a chapter or hearing a lecture one time is all that's needed for a test; no cramming. If my phone happens to die or get lost, then I would be able to recall all the numbers in my contact list. I would be able to win trivial games and contests with this super memory. The one downfall of this cool gift is that a person wouldn't be able to forget the bad things that happened to them.
